About Us

VSI Ordkedjan Stockholm was founded in 1997.

Soon afterwards, we gained the leading Swedish television network as a client. Our reputation for providing high-quality subtitles meant that more television networks, production companies and corporate clients followed suit, and we are now considered to be one of the leading providers of language services in Scandinavia. Our size and experience gives us the flexibility to handle rapid turnaround and out-of-hours work. We never let our clients down.

The VSI Group was founded in 1989 by our Managing Director, Norman Dawood. VSI started out with just 3 people and a two-room London office. Over the years, we established facilities in a number of key territories around the world.

Today the VSI Group employs over 200 people at 16 facilities around the world and every year localises more than 40,000 programme hours into over 40 languages.
